I've just got some dishes to do and a load of washing to get done and I'll be out in the shade with a laptop, it's only just 900 a.m. and it's already 28 degrees out, to nice to be stuck inside working IMO, so make the most of a nice day it is..

I think I'll be outside in the shade again today, we got a 36 degree day yesterday, it looks like more of the same today, to warm for sitting inside when there's no breeze, it's nice not being cold though..

I'm a bit late getting in here this morning, at least several chores are now done, Ive got a couple of loads of washing on the kine, a sink full of dishes done, a roast cooking and some 40 emails replied to so far this morning', the sad thing is it's sunday and the day of rest, I may go outside my back door with a laptop shortly and sit out there in peace, it's going to be 32 degrees today, so I think it'll be a shady spot, lol..

I got offered a ride to get my shopping this morning, just as well too, I got out of the supermarket and the rain started, it's not heavy but I would've still gotten soaked given it takes a good 15 minutes to get home on my scooter.. Hopefully now the shopping's done I can stop inside and get a few things done once I've finished my coffee..

After being forecast a really wet day today it's turned out fine, I was going to go get a much needed haircut on saturday morning but seeing it's fine and I've not got any urgent jobs needing doing, I miay just go shortly and get it done, no doubt the temps here will be back in the 30's tomorrow, so at least I'll be ready for it..

It looks like I've got a job today, Microsoft have finally let out the updates, we should've got them on the 10th, it's the 14th now, this is downloading, I may do bot laptops as well shortly and get them all done for another month, the downside to having 2 or more comps? the extra work keeping them updated and such..

I didn't get much done online yesterday, I decided after the updates downloaded for the desktop I'd do at least one laptop yesterday morning, I ended up doing both laptops, so all 3 were done by lunch time, then I was out for a lot of the afternoon helping out a friend, hopefully today will see me get more done even though I have to see my doctor later, at least computers updating won't stop me from getting online.. The desktop and one laptop have Windoze 10 on them, between the two they used 3,5 GB f data to update both, the Windows 7 laptop only took 335 MB of data for all updates.. I've had the desktop for a little over 5 years and Windoze 10 on it since it first came out and I still haven't used most of the apps on it, it seems Internet Explorer, Firefox, Word and notepad are all I use most of the time, I'm tempted to delete a lot off, but I'm not sure if that'll affect other things or not, so better to leave well eniugh alone I guess..

Thankfully the weekend is here, I seem to have been a lot busier than usual this week with one thing or another, seeing I'm on my own now I have to do all the meals, housework etc and keep up with things away from home, it seems the older we get the harder it is to keep up, feeling rather tired this morning from trying to keep up so it'll be a lazy day today and tomorrow, if anyone comes round wanting something done, they'll get a rude reply, lol.. Normally I'd help them out, but this old man needs some rest..

I've finally gotten to sit down with a coffee, the shopping is done and the chemist visited for more meds so I get a break for an hour before lunch, hopefully I'll get a little nap after lunch today after missing out on my sunday afternoon nap.. It's nice sitting outside with a laptop, much better than being inside on a nice day..

It's about 1 month until christmas, where has the year gone? It feels like last christmas was only a few short months ago, so I'm not ready for this one as yet, I must get started on my cards I guess, I've done the overseas cards such as they are now, there's about 70 cards to be done for within te country to be done though.. My mum bless her got remarried years ago, that left me with a considerably bigger family than I'd otherwise have, luckily we have a rule of presents for only the kids now, with some 50 adults in the family things can get out of hand really easily, even if everyone has a price limit on gifts..
It looks like it'll be a reasonable day here today, so I might take a laptop outside in the sun and work out there shortly, seems a shame to waste a nice day..

I've decided it's a lazy day today seeing it's saturday and both my eyes and hands are playing up, both can ge a bit of a rest once the towels are out on the line.. If I could walk any distance I'd go out before it gets to much warmer, it seems we're in for a nice 31 degree day which is just right for being out and about..

It's sunday and only a month until christmas, I should start on getting the local cards done today, there's about 50 to b sen variously round the country so having a last minute panic on them isn't an option as the postal service returns them if we send to many on any given day, keep it down to 5 or 6 a day and I'm safe, usually..

It's a nice morning here, so once the dishes and washing are done I may just park myself out in a shady spot with a laptop and work outside in the cool, I'm getting the morning sun in half my place at present, that makes it quite warm inside quite quickly this time of year, it seems a shame to waste a good day by sitting inside, especially after the cold wet winter and spring we've just had..

I started thinking beach yesterday after the temperature hit 37 degrees here, it looks like more of the same today, it's a pity our bus service doesn't go past our beaches or I'd go out there for at least the morning, got chores to do unfortunately, so I better stop home and get them done..

We've had some nice warm days over the last week, now the high today is a good 10 degrees cooler than we've been getting at 26 degrees, I think I'll stop inside to work today, it almost feels cold getting 26 degrees after temps in the mid/high 30's and finding it nice, as long as the overcast day doesn't turn to rain I won't mind.. Strange to think we already have water restrictions on, normally that doesn't happen for another 3 or 4 weeks which means folk can't have the charcoal barbecues for christmas, only gas barbecues..

I just checked my calendar and it's 1 December already, none of my cards within NZ are done yet, there's at least 50 to do so I better get a tart on them today I think or knowing NZ Post none of the cards will get there on time, that or I'll post them all at once and have NZ Post return most of them..
